This is a wonderful book to read through and get ideas and encouragement that you CAN homeschool your children. I HIGHLY recommend this book to new homeschoolers in particular, but it would be useful to seasoned homeschoolers as well. Includes information about teaching and learning styles, organization, scheduling, etc. But it is mainly a book about NOT just focusing on academics. It has a bit of a Charlotte Mason flavor to it. There are many, many ideas to get you started - so many that if you tried to do them all you would become quite overwhelmed. So pick a couple and get started!
