We purchased and read the following books from CLP and have enjoyed them ALL. I wouldn't hesitate to use CLP for our literature needs. My children love these books.

Nature Readers 1-5th
Meeting New Friends
Lessons from the Farmyard
History for Little Pilgrims
Beautiful Stories for Children
History Stories for Children
The Wright Brothers and Their Sister
Children of the Covered Wagon
Stories of the Pilgrims
Exploring American History (a little dry but we were using it for 3rd grade as a read-aloud and it's a 5th grade text)
Martin Luther: The Great Reformer
American Pioneers and Patriots

We have purchased several CLP books and found them fun to read and wholesome. I know that when we pick up a CLP book, it is safe to hand to my daughter without worrying about inappropriate content.

I plan on ordering more books from them in the future.

As far as their curriculum, I cannot comment, as we have not used it.

I was not impressed at all with Christian Liberty's cirriculum. Half way through the year we ended up switching.
