I supplemented my chidlren's Pre-K curriculum with these workbooks - dd flew through them often finishing an entire workbook in one day (so we went on to the R&S workbooks, then Kumon, and Critical Thinking). My son took more time with his (I didn't push but offered them when he asked to do "more school").

I love these sweet workbooks - could have easily started them when they were "about three". Very affordable, too!

Just a suggestion - START with these before going on to more colorful workbooks. I loved the simplicity of these workbooks - especially for children just starting out (3 & 4 years old). But it seemed once they went to the bright colored workbooks, these weren't as interesting. I'd have them color the pictures when possible, but it wasn't the same!

My boys did these books this last winter at ages 4 and 3. They really seemed to enjoy them. The 4 yr. old did seem to get a little bored with them towards the end.....but not too bad.

All in all we enjoyed this little set and I do plan on doing them with my younger son as well.

My son did these and he really enjoyed the first one and the one on cutting and pasting, but after a while he got bored with the same activities over and over. When we first started them he was flying through them and I was worried it was going to get too hard since it was really supposed to be for older children, so we stopped and we used some Kumon books. Well after doing the colorful Kumon books he was bored with the black and white workbooks. We finished them, but for my next son I would just stick with Kumon.

I reviewed these workbooks under CLE, before I discovered this section.

I can't stress enough how much I love this program. I wish I'd bought in the beginning. My DD and I have loved it and we both get excited about what's "new" that day. I feel she's learning readiness skills but I'm not stressed out over which lesson to do, when. We just work through a book and when she's ready to stop, she does.

It's amish-based, so the only issue I've had is not recognizing a few of the farm pictures, but I would definitely NOT let that stop me from using it again. The price is just too perfect and I plan to use this with my other kids too! I feel I finally found a preschool program that fits our needs, budget, and that I can go back to again and again.
