This is a very unusual handwriting program for two reasons:

1. The child will not be practicing letters or numbers! The child will only be practicing strokes!

2. The child listens to short clips of music while they write. (Each clip is less than two minutes, I would estimate).

This tool helps children practice strokes without lifting their writing instrument from the paper and helps them work on the rythym and motion of writing.

Each week also has a positive sentence for the child to copy at the end of each day's session. Some of them are not sentences I wanted my child to write because I don't believe self-esteem is built by praising oneself. You could easily write a different sentence for them to copy each week.

This writing program is often recommended and used by occupational therapists for students who lack fine motor skills. It has improved my son's writing, tremendously.
