We watched it in 3D and it was neat. If you have small children be advised that it tends to be a little scary in a few parts. I jumped a couple of times. Over all it was a GOOD movie - not a GREAT movie. I'd wait for it to come to a cheap theater if you have one. However, it is one that I would buy to add to our Christmas collection.

Can you tell me more about it? Is it sarcastic? Is there a lot of, I don't know, "typical" "stuff" in it? I'm just wondering if my ds should see it w/ his ps. I need to get the permission slip in to school so I really need to know some thoughts, if you don't mind.

It's TOTALLY appropriate for ALL ages - just a little scary for very young children. No sarcasim. There is one scene where there is a group of people and they are playing the guessing game and the word a** is used but you really have to be paying attention to get it.
