You dentist does not have emergency hours? Hmmm.
I know I have big fillings as well, and they have held for years, but they do need crowns, so I am doing one at a time.
Sounds like that tooth is pretty weak. Thing is, a crown appt is bout an hour long, so he may just take you in on Monday and give you a temporary once again until they can get you in for the crown fitting. Then go back for the perm.
I would try and stress the importance of getting a crown done ASAP. So you don't end up with a root canal(bleck).
Take it easy over the weekend.

I had the same thing happen with a filling - it fell out twice, once right after he'd put it in. It ended up that there was not enough "tooth" for the filling to stick to, so he ended up doing a crown. I hope you get it taken care of - going to the dentist isn't fun one time, let alone 3 times for the same thing!

tami..thanks for your story. that's EXACTLY what happened to me..when the second filling came out last night (24 hours after being put in)..i knew i had a serious problem!
