who has everything? I'd rather not do gift cards. He likes video games, but he probably has them all. He does like football, and I was thinking of getting him something with his favorite team logo, but can't find anything. Need gift for this Saturday.
Any ideas?

I found a nice bedside rug at home depot that had the team logo on it for ds last Christmas.
We have also just picked up footballs, basketballs, or soccer balls for them.
My boys still like matchbox cars and love lego's.
Oh, I bought hs a rope and some 'clips' last yr. How about a wood carving kit?

Fathead.com is the site for the decals that you put on the wall - they have the sports stuff and Star Wars too. Try googling if you are looking for gear and see if you can find a store that carries sanctioned gear of the NFL or Baseball or the sport of choice. I know there is a store in the mall here that carries jerseys and such but when I went looking for Saints stuff last year, they didn't have anything - mostly CA stuff. Walmart carries some things sometimes. If in off chance that you are looking for Saints, LSU, Hornets, or Tulane stuff - I have a friend who owns a store in Louisiana that sells those items.

Nerf guns! My 11 year old and all of his friends can't get enough of them. And buy extra darts because they get lost easily. We have lots of nerf wars in our house, LOL! Mom and Dad even get in on the action sometimes.

I've always been a "gift" buyer. I've never liked to give money. I never felt it was a gift from the heart. But, the last couple of years when I ask kids around that age what they want, they say money. When my son gives his friends money, the are very excited. So, that is what I give now. My son likes to give money according to their age. If they're thirteen we give $13. We usually throw in little things like their favorite candy, or something to that effect.

you know, this is going to sound weird, but i never enjoy buying gifts for kids who "have everything"...kwim? I mean, if they really do have everything, then why have a party? why not give to charity or something? (okay, i guess that sounds really harsh)..but anyway, we have a niece/nephew who lack nothing (very nice kids but parents are wealthy)...I always get them magazine subscriptions...and they LOVE them and their mother loves the gift too....
for the gift/party, i buy 'one copy" of the magazine..and tell them that their subscription is coming in the mail very soon.
