I am racking my brain on this one. She is eleven, going on 16. What to give her? We don't overdo gifts at all around here, we really do focus on Jesus, so the few little things she gets should be special. I can't think of a thing! Ideas???

if okay with her mother, nail polish and lip gloss. If not that, hair stuff?
Cute PJs. Maybe a robe to go with them. I know I'm always good with PJs.
The one gift I got for a tween that went over well was an art book that taught them how to draw fashions and fairies...I don't know. But it was for an artsy girl...so she appreciated it.

I suggest you give her something realistic - something special, she will cherish.
Does she like baking? (I do!) Maybe give her a special set including an apron (you could make it yourself too, if you want to), hot pads, a couple of tea towels, etc. Or maybe a special shaped baking pan and cookie cutters. Doesn't have to be any of these, just think: what does she like to do? What would be special?
Does she like scrapbooking and crafts? (I do!) Maybe you could give her a scrapbook. Make the first few pages yourself, tell her what you appreciate about her, etc. This will make for a very special gift, if she enjoys scrapbooking.
Maybe she likes writing letters? (I do!) Get a nice set of pretty stationary, some stickers, pretty envelopes, or whatever!
Just be creative! Think of what she might enjoy doing? Maybe ask her yourself, what she enjoys doing. Think of something that will be special, and she will keep and cherish and enjoy! If she likes reading, get her a good book! Hope this helps, and gives you some ideas! Lovingly, Agape

a password journal is fun. It opens with voice activation. My oldest loved hers so much when she was younger that I ended up getting one for my 8 yo.
Anything girly, like body washes and stuff that make them feel grown up.

How about some of those neat toe socks in fun colors, and a pedicure kit you put together with nail polish, all packaged by you in a basket or gift bag? That one is always a huge hit for younger female relatives in my family.
Alima pure has samples of all their make up for $1.00 you can also add pots of lipgloss they sell for $1.00 each, if she is allowed to wear it (it's basically like a chapstick but with a touch of color in a pot and all organic). I just go a bunch for my girls to use.
