Keniki~Apostolic Churches

Keniki~Apostolic Churches

Hi Keniki. I noticed in another thread that you attend an Apostolic church. I've been reading at the website you provided and would like to know if that is how it truly is at your church? Can you tell me what a typical church service looks like? I cannot tell from the website, but are Apostolic churches family-integrated or do the children/teens go off and do their own thing? How are newcomers treated? What about visitors that might not fit in right away because they do not know what is expected? I know I'm throwing a lot at you at once, but this seems like a church I would like, although some of it would be new to me ie. head coverings and such. I really like the idea of a church that sticks to the WHOLE Bible, instead of picking and choosing.

If you'd rather answer me in email, it's

removing all spaces and converting, of course :-)
I hope you don't mind me asking you these questions.

I'd be glad to talk to you about it, but I probably won't get enough time tonight. I'll try to email you in the morning. My email is farmfreshproduce @ maxwire.net if you want to email me in the meantime.

Hi! I am not Keniki so I cannot speak for her but my family attends the same church. I would say the website is very helpful in understanding our church. OUr children do go to sunday school during the morning service. All of our churches provide a lunch between the morning and afternoon services and the majority of people stay for both services. I didn't grow up in this Apostolic church (a church similar though) but after attending a few times, my husband and I really felt welcomed. After being members there for about 10 years now, I can still say that we love this church and cannot really think of anything that we are dissatisfied with. Honestly, there are about 95 churches with approximately 13,000 members and we are all sooo close knit, which I really appreciate.
