Was raised nothing. At. All.
Married in an Amish-Mennonite church.
Now we are just....I dunno....conservative Christian. Some people think Mennonite. But Mennonites won't claim us. LOL.

Born Catholic, but not really raised that way. Switched to Non-denominational at 14. DH was raised Catholic switched to non-denominational at 16. Came back to the Catholic church a few years ago.

Raised: non-denom Now: WELS Lutheran

Life long United Methodist. Husband Catholic now Methodist.

I was raised Assemblies of God.
My husband was raised American Baptist.
We are both preacher's kids.
We probably would most closely align our beliefs with those of the Reformed Baptist although we attend a Nondenominational church with Calvinistic leanings.
How's that for an answer. LOL.

Estoria we could be "freaks" together. Grew up church of Christ/ full gospel (went to coc school but full gospel church). Am now nondenominational but attend a south baptist church went I can go. I am conservative... Dont do halloween -celebrate Christmas as birth of Christ and Easter as ressurrection day... No tooth fairy... However I agree we should get rid of labels and I can worship where Christ is glorified. where are you from estoria... Maybe were close.( dont have many freinds either)

By: dtrpath27 Nov 01, 2009 04:13:PM Okay, here's an apparent anomaly: I was born and raised Catholic...and still am. __________________________________________
I would still be Catholic too if my dh were more open to it - he was raised nothing at all, and I was raised very conservatively Catholic. He is my soul mate (not to sound too cheesy) but he is, and his salvation is extremely important to me. He was not forming a relationship with the Lord attending Catholic services with me, so I prayed about it a lot, it was a really hard decision for me to make, but ultimately I decided that I wanted him to know the Lord. We found this Methodist church together, and he DID come to know the Lord there and was baptized and we now attend services together (happily). The church however is not as conservative as I would like - hence my comments in the previous post, but I truly feel that I can spend time with the Lord anywhere, in any church building or even not in one, so the denomination thing is not a priority. Does that make sense? (But honestly, it would be icing on the cake if the church was Catholic!)

Seventh-day Adventist. I have always been. My husband was raised Catholic and converted to mine a couple years ago.
