Raised Catholic, now attending a Methodist Church - not a perfect fit theologically-speaking, but we have a good community of friends there so for now, we're staying.

No title will or church denomination will get you into heaven, so I think it would be "cool minnie too" if all churches dropped their "titles" and just preached Gods word. All of Gods word

I agree with that Snipet. When the Christian church began, there certainly were no denominations or titles. They were known by their location. That's why Paul addresses "the church in Corinth," "in Ephesus," etc. Some day it will be that way again. But for now, it's the title on the sign that often(though not always) tells one a lot about what is believed inside the building. ;-)

Raised Assembly of God and still would be if there was one in our area.

Going to an Evangelical Free Church and I'm perfectly miserable there. It's large for the size of town we live in (Sunday attendance is around 700+) - it went through a building project this past year and came out this side of it as a totally different "thing". Gritty and urban instead of "family of God". Cave like sanctuary (Where's the popcorn? The movie's about to start.) Sigh. Don't get me started.

I am a Bible-believing non-denominational Christian. I was loosely raised in the Lutheran church. Switched when I was 14.

I was raised in a Catholic home, but was led by loving friends to the Lord. I quickly learned that I am saved by grace through faith. It has been a blessing to raise my dc in a Bible-based church from the beginning~

My husband is a pastor of a non-denominational church. He is licesnced by a full-gospel church. I consider us to be pentecostal if the hosptial and places like that ask.
BUT... I am a Christian, and I believe the Bible to be the infaillable word of God. I believe everything in it is still true today, and you can't pick and choose what fits your lifestyle.
I wish the "church" would unite and get on fire for the Lord.

We are very conservative and it's hard to find friends that we have things in common with. We don't celebrate halloween, don't do santa claus, easter bunny, tooth fairy, etc. We homeschool and believe our 6 children are BLESSINGS and not burdens. Don't watch most t.v, don't listen to any rock, don't adore Harry Potter.......
Yeah, we are treated like freaks.
