Right now my front door is off the hinges, for dh to paint it. We are converting our front porch into a schoolroom. We actually bought all the materials we needed to do this last summer, but never finished because I was asked to help teach (and dss attend) a private school at a church about 30 miles away.

So now, we are busily trying to get things done in the month of August. Dh is on vacation this week, and now that our company is gone, we have time to do some much needed work around our house. Last week, he put in wiring to our front porch, and put up a couple of new lights. This week is the door. Next week, we plan to paint and lay some carpet that we got on sale last year. It is funny, but I am glad the stuff is already paid for, because we have NOOOOOOOO money right now. It is encouraging to see it all come together.

Anyone else have projects going to get ready?
