We've had Symantec until recently but I'm wodnering whether to renew or if there is something better (better and cheaper is good, too, LOL).

We have AVG. The free version It has regular updates and you get reminders.

I also have on my computer (because of my not updating often enough we got something a while ago that made my desktop icons disappear) Spybot Search and Distroy. It finds and fixes malware and adware problems which make my computer (which is already outdated and due for a replacement) run SLOW. So my BIL recommended it. It apparently gets along well with AVG.

They keep me running trouble-free. I got all of them from downloads.com.
