FREE PADDLE-TO-THE-SEA CURRICULUM...(Holling C. Holling)

http://nsgd.gso.uri.edu/ohsu/ohsue91001.pdf
(166 pgs)

OR

http://www.ohioseagrant.osu.edu/_documents/publications/EP/EP-076%20Paddle%20to%20the%20Sea%20SAMPLE%20ACTIVITY.pdf
(Just 16 pgs, a smaller part from the above link, I think...doesn't look as good, IMHO. It DOES have an order form for the 166 pg guide on the last page, however.)

I just came across this today. It is put out by Ohio State Univ and can be bought for $10 from them. However, from what I understand, they allow educators to copy any of it from their guide. (Its aim is for older elementary, I think.)

It is not a great photocopied reproduction, but it is adequate. It is 166 pages long so you may not want to print it ALL out. It looked like it had some workbook-style sheets as well as projects in it. LOTS OF STUFF!

~~~redsonja~~~
Here are some more nice freebies. However, they are secular.
I have a "freebies" list on my blog. Too many things to post here...
http://miazshomeschoolminutes.blogspot.com/
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
>>>Cocoa's original message:
I run across links to free homeschool materials nearly every time I google. Some of the links are useful for us, and some are not geared to the right ages for us. But I like to share the links I find with you all here in hopes of helping someone. And I've done that from time to time. I've seen where others have done that also, but so many times I went back to try and find the links, and they got buried in other messages and lost. :-(
So, as I was thinking along those lines, I had this idea...
What if I made a thread where everyone shares links to the free stuff they find online. This thread could serve as our freebie resource thread, sort of like a master list of freebie educational stuff. It can be links to free stuff you've used, or stuff you haven't used but looks interesting or fun. It can be free books, worksheets, planners, games....anything related to homeschooling that is free. :-)
If you have used the freebie, feel free to share a little bit about it with the link, like what you liked, what you didn't like....sort of review-style. ;-) But if you've not used it and just ran across it, share the link and if you want, share a little info like what the subject it is, and if you noticed the ages it's intended for, etc. Nothing fancy, just a little about it to let people know whether or not it might be helpful for them.
So with that said, here you go....our homeschool freebies resource list. :-)
