He's so funny. Now that he's in college he doesn't want to go around "announcing" that he was homeschooled. He feels a little ashamed. But there are a few things I know that he doesn't. -He's very comfortable talking with his teachers (thanks to homeschooling). -The reading level is easy for him (thanks to homeschooling) -He stops by and says hello to his guidance counselor almost every day (thanks to homeschooling) -He "CLEPed" out of some classes (thanks to homeschooling) -He really likes the school environment (thanks to homeschooling) And I could go on... He comes home from every class with a story to tell and doesn't just answer my, "How was class?" question with a "Fine." When I was struggling with all those challenges of the early days I never thought this day would come. But it has and I am rewarded daily.
