If Money Were Growing On Trees...

If Money Were Growing On Trees...

...what homeschooling/educational goodies would you purchase?
Think no limits!

If money was not an issue and I was outside pulling it off the trees I would buy all the best and wonderful storybooks, read-alouds, chapter books, science books, history books, ANY books, etc. that I could fill up in my CBD and Amazon shoppping basket.
I would spend a few days at Borders and Barnes And Noble as well, just filling up a hand basket or two (or 3, or a dozen).

(Oh, educational toys would be at the top of my list as well.)

So, books for me, how about you?

re: If Money Were Growing On Trees...

I would also get lots of books. I would also get some new bookcases to put them on! And I would get lots of educational toys and set up play/art areas for the preschoolers.

re: If Money Were Growing On Trees...

-more books
-those bookshelves that turn and you can put books on every side(like at the library and bookstores)
-big rolling cart supply organizers from the school supply catalogs
-a telescope
-another microscope
-a pull down map system
-child size computer desks
-lots of musical instruments

hummm...I know there's more. I will probably think of them as soon as I click "post message"

Dreaming is fun :)

Books, books and more books. And I'd splurge on educational toys from Montessori services and Nova natural and buy every educational thing from Etsy and hyena cart I can!
Also I'd build a school house (not attached to our regular house) (think like little old school house kind of thing). It would be a nice size, have sofas for us to sit and read together, a window seat where we could sit and watch nature, a science lab area where we could experiment, a craft area with arts supplies galore. Guess I'm thinking like a pottery barn kids look inside.
Oh dreaming is fun LOL

Yall aren't thinking big enough. I would take lots and lots of field trips - i.e. the Grand Canyon, The Alamo, Washington DC, and all of the other Scientific, Historically significant places!

re: If Money Were Growing On Trees...

If it were possible, I would buy time. I feel like I am never going to fit in everything I want them to learn in the time I have left with them!

re: If Money Were Growing On Trees...

OK - I would buy:
1 - a house cleaner, so my house would always be clean and we could concentrate on school without the dirty dishes nagging me.

2 - another laptop so I wouldn't have to share mine with DS13 for his schoolwork.

re: If Money Were Growing On Trees...

Travel! We'd travel the world seeing every historical and fascinating place we'd love to see. Oh, and I'd custom build a house with a music studio, art studio, indoor gym, swimming pool, and personal library. :)
