Last week there was an incident with his teacher that just left us livid. Ds has diet restrictions and we found out they weren't be followed as closely as possible which was leaving him with a majorly upset tummy. Plus, ds had numerous potty accidents one day and the teacher called and spent the whole time defending themselves and making it quite clear they don't want to deal with it anymore.
That's perfectly fine with me, he'll come home and I'll deal with it! My dad is so upset he wants to sue the school for endangering ds's health. Everyone said the same thing, pull him it's time to homeschool!

Congratulations on taking the big leap of faith!!!! Sometimes God uses certain instances in our lives to bring us into His will. We pulled our dc from school because of our middle child's heart defect, and now I realize it is what God wanted us to do all along.
May God walk beside you on this wonderful homeschooling journey! Enjoy having your son at home~

Awe, poor little guy! How old is he? I have heard some seriously ridiculous stuff that is going on in pss this year. Teachers calling parents because they don't want to deal with things, or because they are defending themselves because of something that happened is not just going on in your area. Shame. Glad you get to bring him home:)

Poor kid. Trying to deal with all that must have been making for a very stressful day at school. He's blessed to have a mom that is watching his back and loves him enough to make the tough decisions!

Shaking head, but I'm not suprised. The school just can't love and take care of your child the way a parent can and will. You have your child back and I'm happy for you. You made a good choice! Michelle32
