Could you please share any thoughts on this curr..my dd (14) loves to write..but needs extra work on the "rules" of grammar..Do you use something like Easy Grammar with this?
Do you think we should maybe look at a program that teaches different types of writing first and save this for next year? Thanks for your thoughts!

I'm so sorry that it took me so long to reply to this. I will try to answer your questions, don't know if I can tell you what you wanted.
My son loves this curriculum. He loves to write and at this point wants to be a writer. I felt after having grammar clear up through 8th grade (he used BJU for 7th & 8th) and I feel they are pretty through. I felt from that he has a good grasp on his grammar.
If you feel that your daughter needs more work, I would supplement with something else.
However, the author, in her course objectives does list this under the grammar & spelling objectives for the course:
To learn, practice and apply the following:
--whole sentences
--subject-verb agreement
--parallelism
--correct use of pronouns
--correct use of verbs
--correct use of modifiers
--homonyms & other common mix-ups
--spelling rules
--capitalization rules
--common abbreviations
--use of numbers in writing
--punctuation rules: periods, question marks, exclamation points, quotation marks, underlining/italics, apostrophes, commas, semo-colons, colons, dashes, hyphens, ellipsis points
--editor's marks
I felt, for my ds, that this was enough, at least for this year, he's only 9th grade, so we could do more later too!
