Many of you may represent curriculum products for a publisher. Please remember that board rules state the following:

If you sell a certain curriculum product, or are somehow connected, you may not discuss that curriculum or its competitor’s products. It’s a conflict of interest and dishonest to pretend to be neutral when you are not.

If it is discovered that you have posted negative remarks and are somehow connected to a competitor product, we will take action to remove the negative posts.

The Moderators

It doesn't make sense that a rep should be banned from a discussion completely. However, a requirement that the person state he/she is a rep is appropriate.

The poster would not be banned, but all posts by that person relating to the product would be removed.

I don't think removing their posts is fair. Everyone should be able to reply with their own thoughts or opinions on the curriculum topics presented on this board.

I think you should ask that they state their position, but let them speak their opinions regarding their products.
