Help me find a website for home schoolers that I was told about here...

Help me find a website for home schoolers that I was told about here...

There was a nice homeschool website I looked at last year.
It has archived all sorts of video classes on all topics.

There were traditional classes as well as extracurricular like art, and even music, but within music are all sorts of lessons including piano and violin. They had foreign languages and much more.

If I recall correctly you could pay around 20 dollars to subscribe (maybe for the entire year, not just month) and you had unlimited access to classes, on your time.

Do you know what that might be?

I had it saved on my old computer, but when it crashed it was forever lost.

thanks...

Schoolhouseteachers.com?

I've looked at it, but never truly considered it. I'm realizing that my 9 yo does quite well with video lessons, so I may reconsider. I'm glad you brought it up. Thanks.

schoolhouseteachers.com??? maybe? but it's not 20 a year. much higher for the year subscription. and not all courses are video based, but some are, and there are links to some outside video things (like drive thru history is on there). definitely on your own pace. lots of printing to do on most things or plan to be at a computer a lot.

what age group were you thinking about? that might jog other memories?

This may not be it. But there is a long thread that gets bumped up once a while with free or near free resources. Does glancing through any of this thread help with what it could have been?

???

and if it was something you paid for access, is there a way to review your personal receipts (paypay, credit card company) and look it up that way then find the website?? (grasping at ideas to help you. )

here's hoping someone can mind meld with your dead computer and figure it out :)

coursera

khan academy has stuff in various subjects these days.

easp peasy is free and sometimes links to video content.

discovery education streaming - about 150/year with homeschool buyer co op. so that's probably not it either.

monarch is not free or near free.

ok my mind meld did not work..

Thank you for your thoughtful help.

Those are all interesting sites that you shared, I appreciate that.

I still can't find the site I was looking for though.

What stuck out to me was they had lessons for the violin( and at least a few other instruments, not just piano and guitar), and had several languages you could study including French, (not just the go to Spanish...)

Thanks though...
