NEW. g.u.m. drops Grammar

Saw this on CBD. Anyone heard of it or know anything about it??

I've seen it for sale on RR for years now, but I've never used it. You can download a better sample from RR. I've used GUM by Zaner Bloser a long time ago. They have similar names, but are different.

Oh that's too funny... I guess not so new then.
I'll have to check out RR then. :0)

re: NEW. g.u.m. drops Grammar

Oh sheesh... I thought you meant that GUM was dropping the grammar out of the lessons and only doing usage and mechanics...

Never mind!! Carry on. :P

LOL :P

re: NEW. g.u.m. drops Grammar

I used this with my daughter a couple of years ago. It is kind of like Fix It Grammar or Editor In Chief, but much less expensive. The child reads and edits a passage from a classic book each lesson. We liked it. The first half of the book was fairly straightforward. The second half was more complex and a student would need prior grammar instruction to understand it. We started with the 6th grade book so I'm sure that wouldn't be the case if you started with the books directed to younger grades.

Let me know if you have more questions. :-)
